Paul McCartney Performs 'Yesterday' With Jimmy Fallon

On "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" last night (Dec. 10), Paul McCartney made an appearance to sing an early version of "Yesterday" with Fallon himself, as well as "Here Today," a fitting tribute to John Lennon 30 years after his death.

The now-legendary story behind "Yesterday," and its early version called "Scrambled Eggs," was that the chorus was written using the first words that came to McCartney's mind -- "scrambled eggs."
